A huge congratulations and thank you to the organising committee, actors, sound and light technicians, volunteers and all that helped out in any way to make the Haunted House on the Hill a massive success. The dead will rise again for Halloween 2024!

Haunted House on the Hill 2023
The Sean Duffy Community Centre in association with Ardnaree Sarsfields GAA and Pieta House will host a Halloween Haunted House attraction at the Sean Duffy Community Centre, Ardnaree, over the evenings of Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October 2023 with horrific scares and frightening fun for adults and teenagers.
A ‘matinee’ show will also take place on Sunday 29 October for children from 4 to 6pm. Entry for kids will be at a reduced rate paid at the door.
A Sensory Hour for those with sensory difficulties will also take place on Sunday 29 October 2-3pm. Entry is free for the senory hour but please contact event organisers if attending to reserve a spot and for any further information. Polish Community Football Tournament
Congrats to Marcin and all at Ballina Boys On Tour Ireland for running a great 6 a-side tournament at our Astro Pitch on Saturday in memory of Dorota Patyk.
Polish teams from Galway, Limerick and Ballina took part as well as strong teams from the town itself. Well done eventual winners Polonia Galway and to all involved!

General Election 2020
All classes & activities due to take place at the Sean Duffy Community Centre on Saturday 8 February have been postponed/cancelled due to the Community Centre acting as a Polling Station for the General Election.

CPR TRAINING
The Sean Duffy Community Centre, thanks to the Irish Heart Foundation and Ardnaree Sarsfields, once again held CPR training free to community members. Three separate classes took place on one night in September 2019 with over 70 people taking part.
Thanks to all who helped out and to all those that took the time to learn or refresh their understanding of CPR.
